
The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, met His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Ulker, Ambassador for the Republic of Turkey today at Riffa Palace. The meeting marked the conclusion of the Ambassador’s diplomatic service in Bahrain. His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation of the progress in the friendship and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Turkey. His Royal Highness also emphasised Bahrain’s desire to see greater opportunities for cooperation with Turkey across various fields, in particular in the economic and investment sectors, in light of the importance of these areas to the leaderships of both countries. His Royal Highness praised the Ambassador's efforts towards boosting and consolidating bilateral relations between the two countries, and wished the Ambassador further success in his future assignments. For his part, the Ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the support and assistance he received in Bahrain in performing his diplomatic duties and praised the efforts of Bahrain’s leadership to boosting and developing cooperation with Turkey.
