Bahrain-US relations, cooperation reviewed

Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received at the BDF General Headquarters today the Commander of the US Central Command (USCENTCOM), General Joseph Votel, and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the kingdom to take part in the 13th IISS Manama Dialogue.
Defence Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Yussef bin Ahmed Al Jalahma, and Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, were also present.
The commander-in-chief reviewed with the USCENTCOM commander the US Bahraini-U.S friendship and cooperation relations, and ways to enhance them.
They also reviewed the steadily-growing bilateral military coordination and defence cooperation, and discussed issues of common interest.
