Bahrain, UK discuss maritime security cooperation

Bahraini Commander of the Coast Guard, Commodore Alaa Abdullah Sayadi, today received Commodore Steve Dainton, Commander of the British Naval Component.
According to the Bahrain News Agency, BNA, the two sides discussed means of boosting bilateral cooperation, as well as reviewing issues of common interest.
Sayadi highlighted the significance of such meetings in boosting cooperation on maritime security, and praised the cooperation in the field of training and capacity building.
