The Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al- Khalifa affirmed that comprehensive and just peace in the Palestinian case cannot be achieved without Israel's full withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories of 1967, in line with the mutual agreement between the two sides, in addition to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Al Quds as its capital, which are the same principles stipulated in the Arab Peace Initiative and reflected in the relevant decisions of international legitimacy. This came during the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the meeting of the Arab ministers’ delegation with the US Secretary of State John Kerry today in the French capital, Paris. It was held in implementation of the 2013 Arab Summit that took place in Doha, which stipulated having a delegation of Arab foreign ministers to carry out consultations with the American administration on the course of the stalled peace process from various aspects and dimensions as well as present the Arab position on the international system that is being followed and its mechanisms in dealing with the Palestinian case and the Arab-Israeli conflict. The meeting included consultation and discussions on the progress of direct negotiations between the Palestinian and Israeli sides as well as the efforts exerted by the US and Mr John Kerry in running these negotiations.
