
President of the Arab Parliament, Ahmad Al-Jarwan called on Friday on all parties in Syria for an immediate and permanent ceasefire to stop bloodshed during the first 10 days of the Islamic sacred month of Dhul Hijjah, and advent of Eid Al-Adha. "Continuation of armed conflict in Syria deepens the tragic wound of Syrian people," Al-Jarwan indicated in a statement. He said the Syrian Regime forces and the Syrian opposition rebels must reach an immediate ceasefire, and hold negotiations to accomplish a permanent solution that prevents Syria and its people scourge of fighting
