Jerusalem - Irna

Prayers Imam of al-Aqsa Mosque warned Wednesday in Qods on dangerous aftermaths of Zionist regime officials’ efforts aimed at expansion of their hegemony over mosque asking world Muslims to support historical mosque seriously. According to IRNA, the internet website Al-Yaum al-Sabea further quoted Sheikh Yusuf Jumaa Salama who is also the First Deputy of the Supreme Council of Islamic Qods as saying, “This (Wednesday) morning Tel Aviv permitted dozens of extremist Zionists, led by two Knesset members, to enter the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Mosque and they entered the mosque through Baab ul-Muqareba gate.” That is while the Zionists had two days ago announced that the bridge of Baab ul-Muqareba gate towards Al-Aqsa Mosque is on the verge of collapse and that it is a health hazard for the citizens. Sheikh Salama in a communiqué on the occasion announced that the repeated invasions and aggressive moves against Al-Aqsa Mosque are done in the framework of the extremist Zionists’ plans for Judaizing the Holy Qods City, and reconstruction of the imaginary Solomon Temple in its place, and of course putting up the small scale model of that imaginary mosque right in front the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a clear proof for this claim. The congregational prayers Imam of Al-Aqsa Mosque reiterated, “The west side wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque, alias the Boraq Wall, belongs solely to the Muslims and the Boraq Courtyard of the mosque is an endowed land that Salaheddin Ayyoubi and his son endowed to the Moroccan Mujahids and Muslim combatants when they liberated the Holy Qods City from the occupation of the crucifiers, and was later on known as Muqareba district but the Zionists demolished the entire distirct in the year 1967.” Sheikh Salama then demanded that the officials of the occupier regime of Qods must deliver the key of Baab ul-Muqareba to its legal and real owner, which is the Islamic Endowments Office of Qods, emphasizing that any move on the part of the Zionists aimed at changing the status quo of the realities related to Al-Aqsa Mosque and its vicinity would incite the feelings and sensations of world Muslims and would be a serious insult against their religious beliefs and an obvious aggression against the holy Arabic and Islamic sanctities in this holy city. He said that the extremist moves made by Jewish groups, setting a huge fire at the courtyard of Al-Nabi Mosque of Akasha, and writing insulting mottoes on the walls of that mosque against Prophet Muhammad (P) are seriously condemned. Sheikh Salama emphasized, “Such moves of the Zionists are also in direct contrast with the teachings of monotheist religions and the international laws, which have guaranteed the freedom of worshipping and emphasized he need for preserving the respect of sacred sites.” The congregational prayers Imam of Al-Aqsa Mosque at the end asked the entire world Muslims, as well as the liberal minded world nations to condemn such criminal acts around the globe and to inform the nations that the Zionist occupiers are committing unprecedented crimes against the most sacred sites of us, because “Under the prevailing conditions the human beings, the trees and even the stones are not safe from the Zionists’ harm, and therefore, it is necessary to plead to the world Muslims to adopt practical measures aimed at safeguarding their most scared sanctities.”
