Airport inspection unit thwarts Smuggling of 5 kg of Captagon
Beirut - SPA
Inspection Unit at Rafic Hariri International Airport thwarted here today a smuggling operation of an estimated 5 kg of narcotic pills, Internal Security Forces Directorate General-Public Relations Department said in a statement. The seized Captagon was in the possession of a traveler who attempted to smuggle the said amount outside the Lebanese territories. As a result of follow-up process, the Inspection Unit managed to arrest the smuggler's two partners and referred them- along with the confiscated stuff- to the Central Drug Combating Bureau for further investigation.
