
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, currently on an official mission in the country, isited Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah (House of Islamic Antiquities) on Monday. He was welcomed upon arrival at the DAI by General Supervisor, Sheikha Hessa Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, who accompanied him while touring its wards, briefing the premier about some of the relics and items on display. Abe was accompanied by the head of the honorary mission, Advisor of the Prime Minister Diwan, Faisal Mohammad Al-Hajji.
