Egyptian authorities said they have arrested nine Brotherhood members who were planning to commit violence during the trial of former president Mohamed Morsi. The Brotherhood is planning demonstrations Nov. 4 when the trial begins. Members are also assuring Morsi supporters he will not be jailed, al-Masry al-Youm reported. The nine members were arrested at an Oct. 6 meeting, where they were preparing for attacks against the police and armed forces, the report said. A preliminary investigation indicated Muslim Brotherhood leading Essam al-Erian was instructing the group on the attack, al-Masry al-Youm said.
