
The US on Wednesday said it provided South Sudan with $86 million humanitarian assistance for the South Sudanese refugees in the region and for those who were badly affected by the conflict in the country.
According to a statement of the US Department of State, the extra aid is dedicated to provide urgent medical aid, food services as well as potable water.
The aid will also work on improving sanitation facilities, training on farming and providing fishing tools, it added.
