6 Russian soldiers killed in training accident

Six airborne forces soldiers have been killed in an explosion at a military training site in Russia's Pskov region, the Defence Ministry said. The soldiers were taking part in fire exercises on Tuesday when artillery ammunition reportedly accidentally exploded during the training. Two more cadets also suffered "minor injuries" in the blast.Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu has sent one of his top military commanders, Colonel General Vladimir Shamanov, to investigate the incident.
