Baghdad - KUNA
Five people were killed and 14 others injured in two different explosions in Iraq, police sources said on Thursday. The first explosion took place inside a house in Albu Faraj region north of Ramadi city, Anbar province that killed three and injured three others including women and children, according to a police source. Preliminary investigations reveal that the explosion may have occurred as a result of explosive device manufacturing at home, the source added. The second blast targeted a military training center in northern Iraq's Kirkuk province, and killed two and wounded 12 others. Kirkuk police told KUNA that a booby-tapped car explosion targeted a number of soldiers in the centre of the city of Kiwan, northwest of Kirkuk.
