3 banned outfit members arrested in Quetta operation

At least three members of banned organization were arrested during a search operation in Quetta, capital of Balouchestan province. According to details, police and Frontier Constabulary (FC) launched a search operation on Friday night in Eastern Bypass area and arrested three members of a banned outfit. More than 500 officials of law enforcement agencies took part in the search operation. The arrested persons were sifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation. Pakistan Heightens Security in Benazir Airport After Terror Threat The Pakistani authorities tightened security on Saturday in Benazir International Airport after they received terror threats last night. The authorities deployed a large number of security forces and performed thorough checking of luggage in order to prevent the threat. They also used police dogs to check for explosives in the airport's parking lot.
