During the helicopter’s emergency landing at the Rynda River in the Lovozersky district in the Murmansk region “died two tourists - citizens of the UK, both born in 1944, and their interpreter - a resident of the Murmansk region, born in 1960,” the source said. “Two tourists paid for a flight by a private company to get to a fishing site in the Lovozersky district. They got off the helicopter. The helicopter began taking off, but the strong wind took it aside, and it made a hard landing, pushing the tourists,” the source said. “The pilot got injuries.” EMERCOM’s Head of the Information Department Oleg Voronov said at 11:00 Moscow time, EMERCOM’s services received information about an emergency signal from a Eurocopter E120B helicopter, owned by the Alliance Avia private Company. “We received contradictory information on the circumstances and possible victims, which was published by the media,” Voronov said. Over a search operation, rescuers found the exact place of the accident.
