Tehran - FNA

A number of gunmen opened fire in Baalbek market, leaving two killed and several wounded. "The Lebanese army troops have deployed in the region to pursue the shooters," the al-Manar correspondent added on Saturday. Clashes with field rifles erupted this afternoon between armed elements inside Baalbek's old souks resulting in the death of three of them and the injury of many others, Yarzeh based Army Command-Guidance Department announced in its military communiqué on Saturday. Army personnel deployed and launched an immediate manhunt for the suspects. Hideouts were also raided by army soldiers with military police investigating under special court jurisdiction, Army Department of Guidance concluded.
