Indian security agencies arrested two members of banned extremist outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) near the New Delhi Railway Station on Wednesday morning. They were caught after a joint operation was launched with an effective coordination among various state police forces, including Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi and Jharkhand. Central intelligence agencies had passed on secret information to the police forces that the duo had entered the Indian capital to carry out terror strikes. According to the Delhi Police sources, the two nabbed today were planning to carry out terror strikes in the Capital, targeting vital installations. After being arrested, they are being subjected to interrogation. It is likely that they would reveal some crucial information about their network within India. Further details are awaited.
