Kabul - QNA

Eleven members of an Afghan family were killed Saturday as a roadside bomb struck a vehicle in Zabul province south of Afghanistan. The bloody incident occurred in the morning when a vehicle carrying an estimate of 11 people touched off a roadside bomb in Zanzir area of Shamulzay district. Deputy provincial governor of Zabul Mohammad Jaan Rasulyar said the victims were en route to Ghazni province from Pakistan through Zabul's border area. He added that the group, five men, four women and two children, were all members of the same family and were thought to be Afghan refugees returning from Pakistan.
