Nahyan bin Mubarak receives Georgia's PM

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, received at his palace this evening, Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, and his accompanying delegation, who are currently visiting the country.

Sheikh Nahyan exchanged views with the guest about bilateral relations and ways of boosting them, especially in the fields of culture and arts. Sheikh Nahyan referred to the UAE openness on various human cultures to create rapprochement among peoples and learn about cultures.

He stressed that the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan pursues this policy of openness laid down by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, based on the correct understanding of the teachings of Islam, which call for rapprochement and mutual understanding between peoples so as to contribute to the achievement of security and peace.

Sheikh Nahyan pointed out that this wise policy has made the UAE a modern, safer and stable state, where various cultures and nationalities co-exist.

The UAE minister hosted on this occasion a banquet in honour of the Prime Minister of Georgia and the accompanying delegation. It was attended by many personalities from the economic and social field.
