Iraqi forces continue advancement into Mosul's al Shifa district

Iraqi security forces advanced into al Shifa district in the right bank of Mosul city in Nineveh governorate, Sky News TV channel quoted an Iraqi source as saying on Sunday.
The Iraqi forces, in cooperation with the US-led coalition against Daesh, continue their efforts to regain the last district in the city where Daesh terrorist group is still controlling, the source added.
The Iraqi bomb disposal teams also continue to defuse mines and bombs planted by the terrorist group in al Zanjili district in Mosul as well as to rescue the families besieged between the booby-trapped buildings, the source further said.
