Violent clashes occurred in the Yemeni city of Taiz between Ghazwan Mikhlafi militants and government forces following an attack held by Mikhlafi militants on Taiz markets, and killing two traders. It came amid massive popular discontent with the security chaos in Taiz, as large demonstrations were held against the attacks conducted by militants on neighborhoods, markets and civilians.
The protesters held slogans and chanted the official silence and security deficit over the predominance of gangs, who targeted the lives and property of citizens since the beginning of the war.
Some militants affiliated to the resistance in Taiz have attacked the Balqis TV channel crew in western Taiz. A reporter said the militants fired at their car, noting that the incident occurred at Haramen area after they were stopped by armed men.
