ABU DHABI, 12th August, 2016 (WAM) – The Civil Defence and Rapid Intervention teams on Friday contained a massive fire at two warehouses located behind the Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society branch in Mina area in Abu Dhabi.
Lt. Colonel Mohammed Abdul Jalil Al Ansari, Director General of Civil Defence said the Civil Defence and Rapid Intervention teams rushed to the scene upon receiving reports from the Operation Room at 11:15am that a fire had broken out in two warehouses, one containing stationery and the other foodstuff.
The teams successfully controlled and contained the fire. No injuries were reported.
