Bangladesh Police has provided 7- million taka cash assistance to the families of four policemen who were killed in terror attacks last month.

Inspector General of Police AKM Shahidul Hoque Wednesday in a program in Dhaka handed over cash money cheques to family of each terror attack victim law enforcers.

The cash assistance was given to the family members of Md Rabiul Karim, senior assistant commissioner of Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Md Salauddin Khan, officer-in-charge of Banani Police Station in Dhaka, and constables of Kishoreganj District Police Station Ansarul Haque and Zahirul Islam.

Karim and Khan were killed during the July 1 Spanish cafe attack in Dhaka's diplomatic enclave Gulshan in which 18 foreigner were also killed.

On the other hand, Haque and Islam were killed in the attack near the country's largest Eid congregation venue on July 7.

At least four people were killed, including two policemen and one of the attackers, after several explosions and gunfire took place at the entrance of the country's largest Sholakia Eid prayer venue in Kishoreganj district, 117 km northeast of Dhaka, on the morning of July 7.
