Bahrain denounces North Korea's nuclear test

The Kingdom of Bahrain has condemned the recent nuclear test conducted by North Korea, stressing that these repeated nuclear tests pose a serious threat to peace on the Korean Peninsula and the world at large and constitute a clear challenge to the international community.
Bahrain News Agency quoted a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as stressing the need for North Korea to stop all practices that raise tensions, threaten international peace and security, and to abide fully by international resolutions and treaties on the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
The statement also highlighted the necessity of the international community to ensure International Atomic Energy Agency supervision of all nuclear programmes and activities.
