Algerian security forces killed, on Saturday, an extremist element and arrested another in popular cafe, in Constantine province, according to local media sources.
The sources mentioned that security forces exchanged gunfire with the suspects in the area.
The sources confirmed that Algerian security imposed, after the operation, a security siege on the entrances and exits of the province.
The operation came after a suicide attack on the center of security in Constantine province, where the attack was foiled by the police officer who had opened fire on the explosive belt of the suicide bomber, while two police officers were injured.
