His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has given directives to allocate BD 15 million for the Health Ministry’s budget for the remaining period of 2017.

The additional funds will be used to cover the expenses of medicines and medical equipment for hospitals and health centres affiliated with the Ministry of Health.
HRH the Prime Minister’s directives are within the framework of his constant follow-up on the requirements of the health sector to get assured about the sufficiency of medicines, as well as medical equipment and services so that the sector assumes its role to the fullest.

Health Minister, Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh extended deepest thanks and appreciation to HRH Premier for his sound directives, stressing that that the order embodies the Prime Minister’s personal interest in and follow-up on the needs of the citizens, especially regarding health.
