The Ministry of Health is keen on conducting researches and drawing upon the world's best practices in countering diseases and providing high-quality healthcare services, said Assistant Undersecretary for Dentistry Dr. Yusuf Al-Dewari.
Speaking at the inaugural session of the 1st Kuwait Thyroid and Salivary Glands Disease conference, Al-Dewari added that the Ministry is working to keep abreast of the latest developments in the healthcare domain.
He pointed out that the three-day conference aims to help IN reducing the number of patients suffering from thyroid and salivary glands disorders.
It also seeks to keep the Kuwaiti medical teams updated about the latest approaches in diagnosing and treating these diseases, he said.
He noted that the conference will bring together scores of renowned medical experts from the US, UK, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Germany, and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, mainly Kuwait.
About 47 research papers, including 10 from Kuwait, would be presented and discussed during the conference. Through both lectures and interactive workshops, the participating experts will tackle a wide array of key issues relative to thyroid and salivary glands disorders, he said.
