Bangkok - WAM

The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has provided Wetchakarunrasm Hospital in Thailand, one of nine major hospitals in Bangkok, with a laparoscope for abdomen surgery, as part of the support programmes provided by the organisation.

The UAE Ambassador to Thailand, Saif Abdullah Mohammed Al Shamsi, who oversaw the delivery of the medical device, said that the provision of medical equipment by the Khalifa Foundation is part of its humanitarian assistance efforts, which also support medical centres around the world better serve their patients.
