Tehran - Tehran

The Masih Daneshvari Medical Center in Iran plans to hold fundamental critical care services (FCCS) training for Iraqi anesthesiologists, the Fars news agency reported. Mohammad Reza Hashemian, a professor of Shahid Beheshti Medical Sciences University, told Fars that it is the first time Iran has been granted the license to hold FCCS courses. He said the trainees will receive international certificate. Currently, 8 Iraqi anesthesiologists are receiving FCCS training, he said. He added English is the language of training which lasts for four days. Hashemian said theoretical and practical classes are held how to manage intensive care cardio pulmonary and cerebral patients and how to use mechanical ventilators. The professor added the international FCCS courses are under the supervision of the Chicago center. He added the center held the FCCS courses for its anesthesiologists last year.
