Dubai - WAM

Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board and Director General of Dubai Health Authority, on Thursday stressed the importance of medical developments at the fifth Emirates International Urological Society Conference 2016.

Recognised as one of the key conferences in the region, it provides a platform for leading urologists to discuss latest updates and innovations in the field.

More than 700 participants are taking part in the conference, being held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center from 15th to 17th December.

During his speech, Al Qatami stressed the importance of constantly striving to meet global developments in the medical field and benefit from the experiences and successes, especially in the field of urology, which has witnessed a number of developments in diagnosis and treatment over the past few years.

During the three-day scientific programme, most of the urologic subspecialties will be covered with focus on the updates and recent technologies in diagnosis and management. The conference aims to deliver more presentations, researches and workshops on most important topics and updates besides holding an exhibition on all related topics.

Dr. Abdul Qadir Al Zarooni, President of Emirates Urology Society, EUS, said the event, organised by the EUS, has grown to be one of the most important urology conference in the region.

He attributed this success to the high quality of the scientific programme and tremendous support from EUS’s partner organisations, distinguished faculty, delegates and the industry.
