Minister of Public Health, Ghassan Hasbani, told a press conference this Friday that "the file of the pharmacist who has been accused of selling counterfeit medicines to cancer patients has been referred to the Public Prosecution, and the judiciary is doing its job in terms of withdrawing her license to practice her profession."
"No one will escape the law, no matter how long the process takes. We hope that the judiciary will do its job to the fullest and expand investigation to include all those who contributed to doing harm to cancer patients," Hasbani said.
He stressed that "the Ministry of Health is the spearhead in maintaining the health of citizens and the rights of patients."
"We will spare no effort to maintain the high-quality health sector in Lebanon," he assured
