US Central Command chief leaves Cairo
US Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander Joseph Votel
Cairo - Arab Today
US Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander Joseph Votel left here on Friday wrapping up a two-day visit to Egypt.
During his stay, Votel met with Egypt’s Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi and discussed the latest regional developments and regional and international terrorism-combat efforts.
Also, the US commander convened with Egypt’s Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazi and probed a number of issues of mutual interest, including ways to maintain regional stability and exchange of military expertise.
