UAE Ambassador, Lebanese Grand Mufti discuss situation

Sheikh Abdul Latif Deryan, Grand Mufti of the Republic of Lebanon, yesterday received Dr. Hamad Saeed Sultan Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, at the Dar Al-Ifta'a in Tripoli, Lebanon, to discuss the general situation in Lebanon and the region.
His Eminence the Mufti commended the extraordinary and important role played by the UAE at various levels, especially in the humanitarian and charitable fields, praising the wisdom of its leaders and the correctness of their vision.
Al Shamsi hailed the role of Dar Al-Ifta'a which, he described, as moderate and open, especially in light of the circumstances in which Lebanon is going through, stressing that this house will remain a reference for all the Lebanese.
