UAE Ambassador attends reception on Colombia

Mohammed Issa Qattam Al Za'abi, UAE Ambassador to Colombia, has attended the annual reception hosted by the government of Colombia on the occasion of the New Year, for the heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the country.
The reception, held in the Casa de Narino 'Presidential Palace', was attended by Maria Angela Holguin, Colombian Foreign Minister and others.
In his speech, President of Colombia Juan Manuel Santos extended thanks to all heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Bogota for their countries' support for Colombia, which contributed to achieving peace after more than 50 years. He also highlighted the role played by the international community to support peace process since the beginning.
