Speaking about the launch of the new website, Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi said, "In the six short years since we first established Kalimat, it has gone from strength to strength. Now with well over 140 original Arabic children's titles to its credit, we are extremely proud to be launching this brand new website that will allow us to interact with the community and accommodate their needs on a far greater scale. As we move forward into the future, Kalimat remains dedicated to the creation of quality Arabic children's books and we look forward to the many more great successes still to come." The new Kalimat website features a comprehensive catalogue of the publisher's books, which includes a detailed synopsis of each book as well as a facility for visitors to rate each book and leave comments, an invaluable tool for both parents and educators who are searching for books for their children or students. With its highly user-friendly design, the new website also includes a fully integrated book store that allows the people of the UAE, the region and the world to buy any of Kalimat Publishing House's print or e-book titles online. This feature marks a major step forward in increasing the accessibility of quality Arabic children's books, which can often be hard to find otherwise. For those who prefer to purchase books through more traditional channels, the Kalimat website has a store locator feature that allows visitors to quickly identify the exact location of stores that stock Kalimat's books in the UAE, the GCC, and internationally. In addition, the store locator also provides a listing of other online sites where Kalimat's books may be published. Established in 2007, Kalimat is a publishing house dedicated solely to publishing and distributing high-quality Arabic books for children aged up to 16 years. With a portfolio of internationally acclaimed authors and illustrators, Kalimat's extensive range of books highlights traditional Arabic culture alongside the modern challenges faced by today's children, with the aim of developing a life-long love of reading and Arabic literature among Arab children. The winner of numerous international Awards, Kalimat has already produced over 140 titles, many of which have won international book awards.
