Southern Governor visits majalis

Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa visited a number of dignitaries’ majalis in West Riffa. The visits followed the directives of the wise leadership to communicate directly with the people and follow-up on the development projects that meet their aspirations.
The governor expressed pride in the directives of His Majesty the King to reach out directly to citizens and residents, pledging to spare no efforts to implement the royal instructions. He stressed the crucial importance of the majalis, which embody the values and longstanding heritage of Bahrain and its loyal people, and represent a platform for citizens to submit proposals and projects. He expressed keenness on carrying out the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa to assess people’s needs and translate them into tangible projects and programmes.
HH Shaikh Khalifa said that the Southern Governorate would continue reaching out to citizens to gauge their needs and demands, directing governorate’s officials to take all opinions and proposals into consideration. Owners of the majalis thanked HH Shaikh Khalifa for visiting them and hailed the keen interest of the Southern Governorate, paying tribute to the wise leadership.
