Southern Governor honours elderly persons

Southern Governor, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, today honored a number of the elderly persons of both genders who participated in the national event entitled (Our King Is A Symbol of Harmony) that coincided with the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Southern Governorate last April and was held in the Dorat Al-Riffa Social Club for Parental Care. Chairperson of the Dorat Al-Riffa Club commended the positive outcomes achieved for the Governorate's citizens due to activating the principle of social partnership that consolidates the role of citizens in the community, and hailed the Southern Governorate's continued support for social activities. She presented a commemorative gift to the Southern Governor on the occasion visiting the Club and his care for the elderly.
