Shoukry meets EU official on sidelines of Rome meeting

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met Sunday with the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union (EU) Federica Mogherini.
The get-together comes on the sidelines of the international ministerial meeting on Libya hosted by the Italian capital.
The two sides discussed regional issues of common interest atop of which are conditions in Libya.
Shoukry left Cairo on Saturday heading for Rome to take part in the meeting attended by the United Nations envoy to Libya as well as representatives of the Libyan parties.
