Sheikh Hamdan launches Al-Gharbia e-portal

Ruler's Representative in the western region HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan launched today the official e-portal of the western region. The initiative comes within the efforts of Sheikh Hamdan to enhance constructive and meaningful communication between the people of the western region and the competent authorities. The new web portal also will help to advance economic and community development in the region . Launching the portal, Sheikh Hamdan stressed the importance of empowering and equipping government agencies and their stakeholders through the provision of the means for electronic communication. This will become the bridge for effective relations between the people, both citizens and residents, and the government authorities, Sheikh Hamdan added. The web portal will provide a database covering economic and social information and substantially facilitate to activate the means of advancing sustainable growth. The portal also will serves as a data bank which provides adequate economic information from which the investors can benefit for setting up projects in the region.
