H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Thursday received a delegation from Sharjah Museums Authority, which included Manal Ataya, Director-General of the Sharjah Museums Authority, as well as trustees and officials of Sharjah museums at the Ruler's Office.

Sheikh Sultan praised the efforts of the Sharjah Museums Authority in preserving the heritage and history of the Arab and Islamic region in general and the emirate of Sharjah, in particular, through the 16 museums they supervise.

During the meeting, Sheikh Sultan pointed out the importance of intensifying the efforts of the Sharjah Museums Authority in the service of museum visitors from school students, institutes and universities to citizens, residents and tourists.

He stressed that all services, information and media coverage will be available to them for further development.

He also urged all the employees of Sharjah Museums Authority to innovate in providing diverse and rich museum content to members of the public for different ages and functionalities to develop the experience of museums that contribute to the promotion of culture and education.

Manal Ataya thanked Sheikh Sultan for the opportunity to meet him. The Ruler of Sharjah was acquainted with the 16 trustees, supervisors and officials of the Authority.
