Sharjah ruler arrives in Cairo

Sharjah Ruler and Supreme Council Member Sultan bin Mohammed al Qasimi arrived at Cairo International Airport Monday in a short visit to Egypt.
He will attend the inauguration of the annual conference of the Arabic Language Academy in its headquarters at 6th October city.
The conference will be held under the rubric of "Status of the Arabic language in the Arab societies ...reasons and challenges".
Sharjah ruler got the honorary membership of the academy in December in appreciation of his services to the Arabic language and the Arab culture.
He donated to establish the new building which groups also the Union of Arab Language Associations in the Arab countries to preserve Arabic which is the language of the Holy Qur'an.
