H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, today chaired a meeting of the council at the Sharjah Ruler’s office.

The council discussed a number of issues and topics on the agenda and approved a number of decisions which will contribute to achieving the objectives of the overall development in the emirate. The executive council discussed several issues regarding development of work systems in local departments and institutions to best serve UAE nationals and residents living in the Emirate of Sharjah.

After ratifying the minutes of the previous session, the council issued Resolution No. 26 of 2017 regarding the formation of the Supervisory Committee for UAE Innovation Month in the Emirate of Sharjah, under the chairmanship of Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, COO of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority, and a further seven members.

The committee may, with the approval of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, add new members if necessary. The meeting also covered a number of proposals for future developments and projects across the emirate.
