Beirut - NNA
The Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani, stressed that the same person or side has executed the bombings of Ruwais and Tripoli, as "the scheme is clearly aimed to strike the Islamic areas and fuel conflict between them." His remarks came during his visit to Tripoli on Monday to offer condolences over the victims of the blasts. Qabbani confirmed that those who put the explosions near the mosques had no religion or values. The Mufti called on Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam to accelerate the formation of the Cabinet and to transfer the dispute in the street within the government, adding that "March 8 and 14 forces speeches are full of challenge and revenge."
