Yemen's President Hadi returns home

President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi returned home on Monday after a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia which he described as completely successful and important. Speaking to Saba, President Hadi said that he had met with Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and a number of senior Saudi officials. The President, briefed the Saudi King on the path and the peaceful transition process in Yemen and the progress of implementation of the GCC-brokered initiative. President Hadi also said that his visit to the United States was also fruitful and successful. He pointed out that US President Barack Obama was fully briefed on Yemen’s political settlement. Hadi went on to say that President Obama has said his country will work with the international community to succeed the peaceful settlement in Yemen.
