Premier patronises AMA graduation ceremony

The 12th batch of AMA International University-Bahrain (AMAIUB) graduates today received their degrees. A total of 340 graduates were honoured at a ceremony held at the Gulf Hotel, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
HRH the Premier deputised Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi to attend the graduation ceremony. Special Envoy of the Philippines President to the GCC countries and AMAIUB board of trustees' Chairman Dr. Amable Aguiluz addressed the opening ceremony. 
He extended deep thanks to HRH the Premier for supporting the university and spearheading the march of education in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He hailed the Kingdom of Bahrain for supporting the university-led efforts to implement academic programmes and achieve accreditation through agreements which were sealed with higher education institutions. 
On behalf of all AMAIUB affiliates, Dr. Al-Nuaimi paid tribute to HRH the Premier for patronizing the graduation ceremony, hailing his support to the higher education sector. He underscored the importance of the vital sector in promoting the human resources of Bahrain, the GCC states and other countries.
The minister commended the efforts of the university, congratulating the 12th batch of graduates on their academic achievement. The academic degrees were then distributed to the graduates during the ceremony which was attended by Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, state officials and parents.
