Manama - Arab Today

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has received a cable from the Speaker of Kuwait’s National Assembly, Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim.

Al-Ghanim extended to HRH the Prime Minister, on behalf of the members of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, deepest congratulations on being granted the “Development Work Shield” by the Arab League in tribute for his contributions to sustainable development, and in recognition of his pioneering role in the kingdom’s comprehensive development and modernisation march.

The prestigious honouring adds to HRH Premier’s rich record of achievements in various fields, and was conferred on him in recognition of his leading role in pushing development efforts all over the world, as the best means to promote security, peace, progress and prosperity across all societies, the Kuwaiti Speaker said.

Al-Ghanim asserted that HRH Premier is an Arab icon for the effective role he is playing in various fields, including charitable and development work, which, he added, has gained him Arab and international respect.
