Pope Tawadros II heads for UAE

Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese left here on Friday, heading for the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Pope Tawadros II will hold meetings with senior UAE officials led by President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. During his five-day visit, the Pope is expected to lead a Mass in Abu Dhabi. This Mass will be his first in an Arab nation. He will wrap up his visit to the UAE by visiting Sharjah. He will return home on Wednesday.
