Palestinian Monetary Authority governor arrives in Cairo

Palestinian Monetary Authority Governor Gehad al Wazir arrived in Cairo on Saturday to take part in a meeting of the heads of Arab central banks and monetary institutions on Sunday.
The meeting, which will be chaired by Egypt's Central Bank governor Hisham Ramez, will discuss issues pertaining to regional and international economic and financial developments.
The meeting will tackle various topics such as additional reserve requirements to reduce the risk of volatility in the business cycle, the role of the precautionary supervision policies in shoring up financial stability and fighting money laundering and bankrolling terrorism.
