Outstanding orphan, needy family's students awarded

Tree of Life Charity Society and Al Kawther Society for Social Care today jointly organized an award ceremony to honour 387 outstanding school students of orphans and needy families from different school levels.
In a statement to Bahrain News Agency following the event, Minister of Labour and Social Development, Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, who patronized the ceremony, praised the civil organizations’ social and educational initiatives and activities to promote orphans and needy families.
The minister welcomed the civil organizations’ efforts to motivate this category of students to continue their contribution to the society.
He stressed the Labour Ministry’s support for the outstanding students of the orphans and needy families prior to hiring them according to the labour market need.
Officials from the Labour Ministry and civil society organizations and journalists attended the event.
