The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, Adihex, provides a platform to promote the UAE's rich culture and heritage, said H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, during a tour of the event on Thursday.

The 15th edition Adihex is being held from September 12th to 16th at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and is expected to be the biggest in the event’s history according to the organisers.

While touring stands, Sheikh Nahyan viewed the latest hunting, equestrian and sporting products on display.

The region’s largest hunting and equestrian spans more than 43,000 square metres with participation from more than 600 companies from 40 countries.

The event provide visitors with an opportunity to explore the authentic Emirati heritage in Abu Dhabi and learn about hunting skills and equipment, watersports, outdoor sports and equestrian activities. Event programmes also include camel auctions, horse auctions, beauty contests for Arabian salukis, performances by K9 police dogs and horse
