Mokhtar Gomaa picked as ambassador of peace

Minister of Awqaf Mokhtar Gomaa received an invitation from Sheikha Fariha Al Ahamed al Jaber al Sabah, the head of the peace and tolerance association in Kuwait and President of the Kuwaiti Society for the ideal family to be honored on the occasion being chosen ambassador of tolerance and peace for 2015.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Awqaf on Monday said the minister will address the tolerance and peace forum which will convene in Kuwait next Monday in appreciation of his efforts which encourage peace and tolerance.
Sheikha Fariha said honoring the minister comes within the framework of the strong relations between Egypt and Kuwait, pointing out that the current stage the region is passing through requires efforts by ulemas to confront extremism and spread the values of tolerance.
